She blinked again hoping to bring the situation into focus. Nothing changed. Her mind stayed blank and only dark space surrounded her.
Pin-pricks of light, almost like stars, provided a warped version of illumination. There appeared to be no ground, and no sky. But most startling of all was the white door hanging in mid air in front of her. It had no handle, but an intricate twisting design instead.
